Form NA6 – Company Request for a Temporary Residence Card: Download and How to Fill It In (2026)

Form NA6 is the letter from a company or organisation requesting a temporary residence card (TRC) for foreigners who work, invest etc. in Vietnam. The new version was issued with Circular 70/2026/TT-BCA and applies from 1 July 2026. NA6 always goes together with form NA8 for each person.

Who uses this form?

Companies and organisations sponsoring foreigners for work, investment or study.
If an individual relative sponsors, use form NA7 instead of NA6.

Which language to fill in: This official form exists only in Vietnamese and must be completed in Vietnamese (foreigners' names in CAPITAL LETTERS as in the passport). This guide explains each field in English so you or your company can fill it in correctly – a translated form will not be accepted.

Supporting documents and where to submit

Attach form NA8 for each person, passport, and proof of purpose (work permit, investment certificate…).
Submit at the Immigration Department or the provincial Immigration Office; NG3 cases submit to the competent authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
