Vietnam Visa for Filipino Citizens (2026)
Filipino citizens do not need a visa for stays of up to 21 days in Vietnam, under the visa exemption between Vietnam and the Philippines. For stays longer than 21 days, apply for a Vietnam e-visa (up to 90 days, 25/50 USD) or a visa through an approval letter. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

Do Filipino citizens need a visa for Vietnam?
Not for stays of up to 21 days. Overstaying the 21 days is fined, so apply for an e-visa if your trip may be longer.
Phu Quoc island is also visa-free for up to 30 days for all nationalities (Phu Quoc only).

Approval letter and visa on arrival

- Do not overstay: fines start at 0.5–2 million VND and rise sharply (overstay fines).
- Your accommodation must declare your stay to the police within 12 hours.
