Vietnam 3-Month and 1-Year Visa: Who Can Get Them and Fees
A 3-month Vietnam visa for tourists means an e-visa (EV) or tourist visa (DL) of up to 90 days, single entry (25 USD) or multiple entry (50 USD). A 1-year visa is only issued for categories whose maximum is 12 months or longer, such as DN (business), TT (family), DH (study), DT4, NN, LV and PV; a multiple-entry visa of up to 1 year costs 135 USD. Tourists cannot get a 1-year visa because DL and EV visas are capped at 90 days. For stays over a year, workers, investors and family members should get a temporary residence card (2–10 years).
