Where files go after the 2025 merger
Since 1 July 2025, Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau have been merged into Ho Chi Minh City. Companies that used to file in those provinces now work with the Ho Chi Minh City immigration office, or file centrally with the southern reception office of the Immigration Department.

Practical notes from filing here
- Monday mornings are the busiest; mid-week is faster.
- First-time company sponsors must register form NA16 before filing anything else — not on the same day.
- File at least 10 days before the current status expires so there is room for supplementation.
