How long does an urgent visa take?
Under Vietnam’s Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners (as amended in 2019 and 2023), the standard processing times are:
- Approval letter (sponsored by a company, organisation or individual): 5 working days after a complete file is received.
- E-visa: 3 working days after a complete application and fee are received.

How much does an urgent Vietnam visa cost?

- Standard service fee: from 1,100,000 VND for an e-visa and from 1,850,000 VND for an approval letter.
- Urgent surcharge: depends on the document and how fast you need it. Quoted before we start, never added later.
What we need from you
- A scan or photo of your passport bio page (valid for at least 6 months).
- A portrait photo on a white background (for e-visa).
- Entry and exit dates, and your arrival airport or border gate.
- Purpose of the trip, single or multiple entry.
- For business, work or investment visas: the sponsoring company’s business registration, with its seal and signature registered with immigration (form NA16) or an e-account.
- For family visits: proof of the family relationship.

Tips to avoid delays
- Double-check your name, date of birth, nationality and passport number. One wrong character means re-filing.
- Send your details before noon Vietnam time (GMT+7) so we can file the same day.
- Do not arrive before the entry date on your letter or e-visa.
- Companies that have not yet registered their seal and signature (form NA16) should do so in advance.
- Avoid approval letters or e-visas from unknown sources. Fake documents are refused at the border.
